STRATUS provides notification options for an Activity Feed within the STRATUS website and limited email notifications.

Configuration Change Notifications

  1. To access Notification Settings associated with the Account either:

    1. Click your badge > Account Settings > Notifications.

    2. Click the Bell icon on any page (top right) > click the Gear icon.

Activity Feed Notifications

The Activity Feed Notifications feature is available on any STRATUS page by clicking the Bell icon (top-right). The Bell icon may have a number in the foreground which indicates the number of new notifications since you last checked. The Activity Feed displays notifications for certain actions managed by users including: projects, models, packages, package date changes, assemblies, and cut lists.

  1. Receive Notifications for My Activities - When unchecked, you will receive your activity notifications when you are attributed to making the change.

    1. Group by Project for Activity Feed

      1. When unchecked, the Notifications will not be grouped by Project.

      2. When checked, the Notifications will be grouped by Project (Ex. Sand3 - QA Revit Publish Tests).

    2. Group by Model for Activity Feed

      1. When unchecked, the Notifications will not be grouped by Model.

      2. When checked, the Notifications will be grouped by Model (Ex. AssembliesInstance).

    3. Activity Feed Checkboxes

      1. When checked, you will receive notices when the Action occurs for the Item.

      2. When unchecked, you will receive not receive notices when the Action occurs for the Item. For example, if you do not want to receive notifications when Model publishes succeed or fail, then uncheck those activities.

    4. Divisions - For a Package or Assembly, you can choose to not receive Tracking Status notifications when specific Divisions are associated with the update. For example if you don’t want to receive updates when the Pipe Shop makes changes, click the Select Divisions button, click All Divisions, and then uncheck the Pipe Shop Division. Once done, Activities done by the Division will not longer display in your Activity Feed.

    5. Tracking Statuses - The Action Tracking Status Changes can be checked or unchecked for Package or Assembly Items.

      1. When the Activity Feed column is unchecked for Tracking Status Changes, you won’t receive any Tracking Status Changes.

      2. If you want to receive Tracking Status Changes from some Divisions, then use the Divisions option described above.

      3. If you want to receive specific Tracking Status Changes:

        1. Click the Select Tracking Statuses button in the Tracking Statuses column.

        2. Click the All Tracking Statuses item to show all Tracking Statuses.

        3. Uncheck Tracking Statuses for which you do not want to receive a notifcation.

        4. The activity feed does not require the user to refresh a STRATUS page to display new activities.

    6. Hyperlinks - Some notifications include a hyperlink to the assembly name or package name.

The Activities are also displayed in a tabular format under Admin > Company > Activities.

Subscribe to Email?

Currently, only select supplier activities will generate an email. The user will receive an email for each event.

  1. Each user can decide if they want to receive an email notification for certain events.

  2. When an event occurs and company users have checked the Subscribe to Email? checkbox, an email similar to the following will be sent to all subscribed users in the BCC so that only one email is sent to multiple users for each notification to cut down on email volume sent using SocketLabs server.
