The Attachments tab is populated automatically and manually.

Automatic Attachments - STRATUS Sheet PDF

After opening an assembly’s STRATUS Sheet, clicking the PDF button will save the PDF as an attachment and to the local computer’s download folder.

  1. Open a STRATUS Sheet and click the PDF button.

    1. The PDF is saved as an attachment in the assembly’s Attachments tab.

Automatic Attachments - Bend Instructions

Automatic attachments are attached to an assembly when the model injects the attachment into the part. For example:

  1. When using Greenlee Bender software or Conduit Studio in Revit and then publishing the model, the Bend Instructions tab will display the the bend instructions are attached to the part and display in the Bend Instructions tab and in the Attachments tab.

  2. Click the file name link (Ex. Kick 90.txt file ) and the instructions will display in a separate time along with a Download option. The action is similar when the .csv file is clicked. Once saved, these files can be applied at the bender.

Manual Attachments

A manual attachment can be attached either by:

  1. Clicking the camera Capture Image button when the device (like a tabletablet) is equipped with a camera.

  2. Clicking the Add an Attachment button where any file can be attached to the spool.

    1. Locate the file and then either Confirm (or change) File Name and click OK.

    2. The file will attach.

  2. Attachments can also be deleted by clicking the Delete button.

Attachment Toggle Preview

To preview an attachment (Only: .txt, .pdf, .csv, and a .jpg) in the Attachments tab.

  1. Hover over the attachment and the Click to toggle preview message will display. Notice too that the row highlights.

  2. Click in the row most anywhere in the area highlighted in red (above) to open the file preview.

  3. Click the row again to close the file preview.

To open an attachment in a separate browser tab:

  1. Click the file link. The file will open the attachment in a separate tab where it can be downloaded.

Search Attachments

To search for attachment(s):

  1. Enter any part of the attachment file name (Ex. hef) in the search text box. The search will filter the results:

PDF Attachment Markups

Markup Tools can be applied to any PDF, like a STRATUS Sheet, in the Attachments tab within the Assemblies Viewer or Packages Viewer. Once Markups are made, they can be versioned in BIM360.
