Tool Types
When defining a tool under Admin > Company > Tools, you can choose from the following Tool Types:

the tool including cutting machine or cutting software like TigerStop, PypeServer, or NovarcWelder, or printing devices like a ZPL compatible printer. Labels can be defined and printed for certain Tool types. A Tool is used in conjunction with a Station.

Configure a Tool
To configure a Tool under Admin > Company > Tools:

- Click the New Tool button. A new row displays.
- Name (Required) - Enter the name of the Tool that will be familiar to Stratus users.
- Location (Required) - Enter a Location that is meaningful to Stratus users.
- Type (Required) - Select a Tool Type
- Cut List and Other - Tool type provides the ability to send a cut list directly to the GTP
- Stratus Workstation which
- includes General/Manual (Other) and TigerStop (Cut Lists) cuts. The Tracking Status in
- Stratus can be automatically updated after each
- cut is made. Note:
- The Cut List tool type was formerly labeled TigerStop. All
- tool type names have been converted to Cut List. See the Stratus Workstation article for more information.
- Other - Select other when sending a Cut List to the General cutting app
- PyperServer - A CSV export format for PypeServer cut lists.
- T-Drill Cutting - A CSV export format for T-Drill cut lists.
- T-Drill Collaring - A CSV export format for T-Drill cut lists.
- ZPL Printer - Print labels with a Zebra printer for non-TigerStop cut lists like PypeServer and T-Drill.
- Total Station - A Total Station tool that can receive CSV points and/or DXF graphics files for hanger and other recognized points scoped out using packages.
- tool type names have been converted to Cut List. See the Stratus Workstation article for more information.
- NovarcWelder - Only works on the Assemblies Viewer page where an operator can select a weld and send it to the Novarc welder.
- Watts 3DPP - Only works with Watts 3DPP software. The file extension for these output files is *.Stratus3DPP.
- Enabled - By default, the tool will be enabled. Disable the tool if you don't want it to display to Stratus users.
- Label Template - Labels can be defined and printed for certain Tool types like Cut List and ZPL Printer. - Tracking Status when Done
- RazorGauge - For RazorGauge tools, this value can be edited and will be used by the Tool to update Stratus.
- Non-RazorGauge - For tools other than RazorGauge, this column is currently Read Only and displays the value set in Stratus Workstation in the Apply Tracking Status on Done setting.

- Max Cut Length (in) - The purpose of the Max Cut Length (in) settings is to validate cut list length data before it is sent to a station. The Max Cut Length (in) can be edited when Type = Cut List.
- By default, the Max Cut Length (in) = 240.
- Set Max Cut Length (in) as needed (Ex. 24”).
Image Added - Send a cut list to the Station that exceeds the Max Cut Length (in) value.

- Delete - To Delete a tool, click the Delete button.
- Save.
