Importing a Catalog:

  1. Click the +

  2. Type in the catalog name

  3. Choose a catalog .csv file from your computer

  4. Click Upload

Once your catalog is imported, it will appear on your catalog list

  1. Configure: Will allow the user to edit the items inside of the catalog

  2. Export: Exports the catalog as a .csv and .xlsx for larger editing

    • If a user is adding more than a few items to a catalog, we recommend exporting the catalog and adding items through the .xlsx

  3. Rename: This allows the user to rename the catalog

  4. Duplicate: Creates a copy of the catalog

    • Ex. Tools (copy)

  5. Delete: Deletes the catalog

    • Catalogs are hard-deleted

Configuring a Catalog:

  1. Icon Image: The icon image can be changed or removed

  2. Name: The name of the item as it will appear in the app

  3. Manufacturer: Labels who the manufacturer of the catalog is

  4. Part Number: This can be the manufacturer number or an internal part number

  5. Length: Fixed or variable depending on if you want the length to be editable in the app

    1. Fixed: Length doesn’t change

      1. Ex. Ladder, Bolt, fitting

    2. Variable: The length can be set to something specific

      1. Ex. Threaded rod with 3’6” length

  6. Package QTY: How many individual items are being shipped with this one item.

    1. Ex. 1 box of 100 bolts

  7. Sizes: What are the available sizes for this item broken up by commas? This can be any character and doesn’t need to be numbered.

    1. Ex. Jacket- S, M, L

    2. Ex. Ladder- 6 ft, 10ft, 20ft

    3. Ex. Threaded rod- 1/4”, 1/2”, 1”

  8. Tab: Where will this item show up on the cart page in the app

Exporting a Catalog:

When in the cation action menu, you can export a catalog. This allows for much easier mass editing of the catalog.

Note: Open the .xslx file rather than the .csv to ensure formatting is correct

  1. Name: The name of the item as it will appear in the app

  2. Part Number: This can be the manufacturer number or an internal part number

  3. Package QTY: How many individual items are being shipped with this one item.

    1. Ex. 1 box of 100 bolts

  4. Icon Image: The icon image here is in base 64

    • We recommend filling out the info for the catalog in the .xlsx and then uploading the catalog and adding the image to the catalog on the website.

  5. Variable Length: If it is set to TRUE the length will be variable, FALSE will be set to fix

  6. Length is Metric: Leave as FALSE if you are working in imperial. If the part is in metric, set it to TRUE.

  7. Size Units: What is the unit for the size

  8. Sizes: What are the available sizes for this item broken up by commas? This can be any character and doesn’t need to be numbered.

    1. Ex. Jacket- S, M, L

    2. Ex. Ladder- 6 ft, 10ft, 20ft

    3. Ex. Threaded rod- 1/4”, 1/2”, 1”

  9. Tab: Where will this item show up on the cart page in the app

  10. Material: What material is the part

  11. Manufacturer: Labels who the manufacturer of the catalog is

  12. Size Range: What is the smallest and highest size for the part

Once the catalog edits have been made, save the catalog as a CSV (Comma delimited) (*.csv)
