Single Sign-On (SSO) for GTP Services is an optional feature that lets your organization use its preferred identity provider as the authentication mechanism for GTP Services. This includes: STRATUS webs site website and AddIn, Workstation, Print, and Lightning. Using SSO allows your organization to control identity compliance for your users. Compliance factors such as password rotation schedule, password validation requirements, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) usage are governed by the organization's identity provider.

  • GTP Services recognizes your organization based on email address of the user login, and redirects them to your company sign-in page.

  • Existing users are automatically enabled for SSO at their next logon.

  • New users are enrolled for SSO when they are created in STRATUS by a STRATUS Administrator.

  • If a user is already authenticated by the organization's identity provider, the system may not even prompt them for a password.

SSO for GTP Services uses the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) 2.0 protocol. We have currently tested and support the Microsoft Azure AD. However, our SSO is capable of working with any SAML 2.0 compliant IDp identity provider.

Enabling the SSO for GTP Services feature requires planning and coordination between your organization's administrators and GTP Operations Staff.
