The Attachments tab is populated automatically and manually.

See the File Attachment Workflow for more information.

Automatic Attachments

Automatic attachments are attached to an assembly when the model injects the attachment into the part. For example:

  1. When using Greenlee Bender software or Conduit Studio in Revit and then publishing the model, the Bend Instructions tab will display the the bend instructions in the Bend Instructions tab and in the Attachments tab. See the Assembly Bend Instructions for more information.

  2. Click the file name link (Ex. Kick 90.txt) and the instructions will display in a separate time along with a Download option. Once saved, these files can be applied at the bender.

Manual Attachments

A manual attachment can be attached either by:

  1. Clicking the camera button when the device (like a table) is equipped with a camera.

  2. Clicking the Add an Attachment button where any file can be attached to the spool.

  3. Attachments can also be deleted by clicking the Delete button.

Attachment Preview

To preview an attachment (Only: .txt, .pdf, .csv, and a .jpg) in the Attachments tab.

  1. Hover over the attachment and the Click to toggle preview message will display. Notice too that the row highlights.

  2. Click in the row anywhere in the area highlighted in red (above) to preview the file in the Attachments tab. Note: Clicking on the file link will also open the file in a separate tab where it can be downloaded.
