GTP Connect Branches (Admin)

The Branches tab displays a list of branches, a branch location map, and an Add Branch capability. A branch must be added to this page before it can be associated with a STRATUS customer for a specific job.

Add Branch

To add a branch:

  1. Click the Branches tab. The Branch dialog will display.

     

  2. Click the Add Branch button. The Add Branch dialog will display.

     

    1. Active – When checked the branch is active and can receive orders.

    2. Name (required) – The branch name.

    3. Branch Identifier (required) – A unique branch identifier. Your contactors may know the branch by this identifier.

    4. Street (required) – Branch Street address.

    5. City (required) – Branch City address.

    6. State or Province (required) – Branch State address.

    7. Postal Code (required) – Branch Postal Code address.

    8. Language-Country Code (required) – Select the Language.

    9. Phone (required) – Branch Phone Number.

    10. Phone Extension – Branch Phone Extension, if any.

    11. Latitude – Latitude is used to filter the customers you can see by your Service Area (see below). One way to determine your Latitude/Longitude is to:

      1. Open Google Maps at https://www.google.com/

      2. Right-click on the road in front of the branch facility. The Latitude and Longitude will display.

         

      3. Left-click on these coordinates and they will be copied to your clipboard. The left number is Latitude and the right number is Longitude.

      4. Paste this into the Latitude field. You will need to delete the comma and the Longitude value.

      5. Paste this into the Longitude field. You will need to delete the comma and the Latitude value.

    12. Longitude – Latitude is used to filter the customers you can see by your Service Area (see below). See Latitude on how to get the Longitude value of your branch facility.

    13. Service Area - Enter the service area for the branch. The Service Area is the calculated radius for the branch based on Latitude and Longitude. This value will filter out customers who are outside of the Service Area. When customers configure a new project and adds a supplier to the project, an email will go out to the suppliers:

      1. All branch users within the service area that covers the customer's address coordinates.

      2. Users who are administrators for 'All Branches'.

  3. Click Save. The branch will be added to the list of available branches.

Edit Branch

To edit a Branch:

  1. Click the Edit button associated with the branch. The Edit Branch dialog will display.

  2. Make edits and then click Save.
