Multiple Hub Scenarios

Stratus SSA Added to All Autodesk Hubs

Scenario: Projects are managed in Stratus, but models and documents are published to respective .

Scenario: One Stratus company that has multiple Autodesk Hubs. In this scenario during publish, select the correct Hub and Project.

Scenario: One Autodesk Hub with multiple Stratus companies. In this scenario during publish, select the correct Project.

Stratus SSA Added to Primary Autodesk Hub Only

Scenario: When a non-Stratus company is the primary Autodesk Hub, and that company is not willing to add the Stratus Service Account (SSA) to their company and project as a secondary Autodesk Hub, add the project to the Stratus company’s primary Autodesk Hub where models will be published. The central models will be stored on the secondary Autodesk Hubs.

  1. Create the project in your Autodesk Hub, even if you only use that project for Stratus. There is a one-to-one relationship between an Autodesk Hub and Stratus companies. This prevents your Stratus company from seeing another company’s files.

  2. Under Admin > Company > Projects, click the Add Projects button in Stratus. Stratus will synchronize selected projects in Stratus.

  3. To publish a model to the project:

    1. Open the central model hosted on the other company’s site using your normal business procedures.

    2. Click the Publish button. The publish dialogue will display where you will see the list of projects in your Autodesk Hub.

    3. Select the project and proceed with the normal publish process.
