The purpose of cross-referencing supplier products with contractor products is to allow contractors and suppliers to view product data in a form familiar to each party. The Cross-References page is a read-only page used to search for and review the selected customer's products that have been sent to a supplier through STRATUS Purchasing. For example, if a customer's STRATUS BOM has 20 line items, but only 5 of those line items have ever been sent to a supplier via STRATUS Purchasing, those 5 line items are the only products that will be mapped in the Cross-References search. All 20 BOM line items will display on the Opportunities page. Mapping occurs after a supplier responds to a customer Quote or PO. Validating product code mappings is the responsibility of the supplier.

Filter and Download List

To filter the Search Customer Products Results, select one of the following:

1. Customer - Select a customer. The previously selected company will display by default. The Customer drop-down provides a list of available customers derived from the Customers page. See the Customers article for more information.

2. CSV - Click the CSV button to download the selected Customer’s entire list. Filters do not apply to the CSV download.

3. All - Show results for all customer products.

4. Mapped - Show results for customer products that have a cross-reference (mapping) to a supplier product.

5. Unmapped - Show results for customer products that do not have a cross-reference to a supplier product.

Search Customer Products

To search for customer products:

1. Click the Customer drop-down. The Customer drop-down provides a list of available customers derived from the Customers page. See the Customers article for more information.

2. Project - Select the Customer’s Project or All Customer Projects.

3. Enter search characters in the Search Customer Products text box. As characters are entered (Ex. strap, pipe, steel, gasket), the list of Cross-References will be filtered.

   1. The columns being searched include the Customer Description and/or the Customer Code.

   2. Any of these words - A search for Round Strap Hanger will search for any of the words to be in any of the result fields.

   3. Quoted words - A search for “Round Strap Hanger” will search for the exact phrase in any of the result fields.

4. To review a product's mappings, click the row. A separate tab will display the Mappings page. The Customer Description will display in the Customer Product Data search with the Results.
