STRATUS Installer Updates?

  • Revit and AutoCAD Addin - Yes

  • STRATUS Workstation - No

  • Print Workstation - No

Added a View Style Setting for Display Mode and Hidden Parts Shaded

Added a View Style Setting for Display Mode and Hidden Parts Shaded. These settings are applied to assembly and package detail reports.

Display Mode Example

In a "package spool map" where the 'Assembly' display mode is enabled, each spool can be a different color in the STRATUS Sheet PDF which helps to show spool breaks.

  1. The Display Mode setting lists the Display Mode tools' tabs.

  2. The selected item will apply the Display Mode to the STRATUS Sheet. In this example, Assemblies were selected. As a result, each assembly in the STRATUS Sheet is the same color as the assembly in the Display Modes > Assemblies tab.

Hidden Parts Shaded Example

When Hidden Parts Shaded is selected, hidden parts around the package or assembly will display.

  1. In the example below, the Package is coloring Assemblies like in Display Mode and is showing Hidden Parts Shaded.

Added Tabs to Display Modes Assembly Viewer

Areas, Categories, Packages, and Purchasing tabs have been added to the Assembly Viewer Display Modes tool.

Added to Annotation Tags an Override Value Option

Added to Annotation Tags an Override Value option where after checking the Override Value checkbox, the Label can be entered. After a part is selected, the Override Value tag will display in the viewer and under the Notes tab.

Added AssemblyId to File Sent to Novarc Welders

Added the AssemblyId to the file sent to Novarc welders so that this information can be added to the welding label.

Added Tracking Comment to Activities Table

When a Comment is entered under Tracking for a Package or Assembly, it will display in the table under Admin > Company > Activities.

Updated Publish

New Revit Parameter Part Template Item Number Setting to Unchecked

During the publish process, newly created Revit parameters are automatically added to Part Templates. Previously, the Item Number setting would be checked which caused issues with existing Item Numbering rules. With this change, the Item Number setting will be unchecked by default. Below is an example of a newly created Revit parameter published to STRATUS with the Item Number checkbox set unchecked.

Revit is always right Setting - Changes will not be imported to the Mapped Parameter Assembly Name

Under Admin > Company > Settings, when the Revit is always right setting is selected, changes will not be imported to the mapped parameter assembly name. Previously, the import process would delete assemblies.

Updated the Projects > Areas > Graphical Selector

Updated the Projects > Areas > Graphical Selector to provide more accurate grid area recognition. The update maintains support for the old grid cells, but if an area has no grid cells or if the grid cells are edited, the new grid polygon code will be used.

Updated Properties Tool

The Properties Tool display has been updated.

  1. Parts Selected - The number of parts selected in the viewer displays.

  2. All Properties - Checkbox toggles the display from the Display Template, if any, to All Properties.

    1. Unchecked - When Unchecked, only the properties set to display in the Display Template will display.

    2. Checked - When Checked, all Properties will display in alphabetic order. If Hide Empty Values is checked, then those properties will not display.

    3. Note: The setting will persist after the is page refreshed.

  3. Hide Empty Values - Hides properties that have blank values.

    1. Unchecked - Allows the display of properties that have blank values

    2. Checked - Prevents the display of properties that have blank values.

    3. Note: The setting will persist after the is page refreshed.

  4. Edit Display Template - No change.

  5. Edit Item Number Rule - No change.

  6. Filter Properties - Search for any part of the Name or Value to filter the list of properties.

  7. Properties Table

    1. Sort Columns - Click the up/down arrows in the column header to sort the Name or Value column. The active sort will be highlighted darker.

    2. In the Properties table above, neither All Properties or Hide Empty Values is checked. Therefore, the Display Template, since one exists for this template, limits the table to Size, Item Descriptions, etc.

    3. In the Properties table below, All Properties is checked. Therefore, all part properties display in alphabetic order including properties with Empty Values.

    4. In the Properties table below, All Properties and Hide Empty Values are checked. Therefore, all part properties except properties with Empty Values display in alphabetic order.

Fixed an Issue with a Package’s Install Date Being Editable

Fixed an issue where the package Install Date was not editable on a Package’s Dashboard report. When a report Item Type is Package, and the report field is STRATUS.Package.InstalledDT where Format is Date, the package’s Install Date will be editable on the Packages Dashboard. The Install Date can also be edited on the Package’s Properties tab.

Fixed a Naming Issue Using the & Character

Fixed a Display Issue When the STRATUS Sheet Orientation is Edited

On both the Assemblies > STRATUS Sheet tab and the Package’s STRATUS Sheet tab, the orientation of the isometric view can be edited and saved. For example:

  1. On this Package’s STRATUS Sheet and selected report, the default isometric view displays.

  2. The isometric view orientation can be edited and saved using the “Adjust the orientation and zoom for this package in the viewer” button. Below the orientation was changed to a Front view and saved.

  3. The saved STRATUS Sheet orientation will display on Reports like a Master Report on the Package’s Attachments tab.

  4. In this Master Report, the sub-report “Sub-Report P 8” is the same report that was used to edit the STRATUS Sheet above.

  5. With the report opened, the saved isometric view orientation (Front view) edited in the Package’s STRATUS sheet will display.

Fixed a Properties Panel Refresh Issue

Fixed an issue where the Properties panel would refresh after any change was made to the model.

Fixed a Spool Checker Annotation Issue

Fixed a Spool Checker issue where after a custom annotation is added to a part in the Assemblies Viewer, subsequently when the Spool Checker is opened and a part is clicked, that part was also tagged with the custom annotation (see below).

On the Container page, after selecting a container, when a package's contents were expanded, under Tracking, the options in the Status drop-down would not display. This drop-down now displays as expected.
