In a continued effort to improve desktop publishing, the development team is making concerted efforts to ensure that STRATUS provides a platform that you can both trust in and rely upon.

Added Field Expression to Return an Assembly’s First Non-empty Value from Child Parts

Added the ability to create a Field and a Field Expression where Is Total is enabled and Data Type is String (non-numeric) which will evaluate each Assembly and return the first non-empty value from its child parts. For example:

Field setup includes:
1. Data Type = String
2. Is Expression = Checked
3. Is Total = Checked
Report setup includes:
1. Item Type = Package Details or Assembly
2. Report Field - Add the field to the report.
Run the report. It will return the value for each assembly row.

Added Project Properties to Naming Conventions

Added Project properties under Admin > Company > Naming Conventions > Default Values including Business Unit, Construction Type, and Project Type.

Fixed an Issue Editing the Date Fields on the Packages Dashboard

Fixed an issue editing date fields on the Packages Dashboard where an error would display.

Fixed a Properties Link to Part Templates Search

Fixed an issue on the Properties panel where the Template Name link opens the part template under Admin > Company > Part Templates. Previously, when the Part Template name included parentheses (Ex. Pipework Pipe-A53-CS-(A)-SCH40-BLK(PE)), the search failed to enter and search for the part.

Fixed a BOM Report Issue

Fixed an issue with a BOM Report run under Packages > BOM > Report where STRATUS.Alias fields did not report correctly in the report.

Fixed an Issue Applying Tracking Status to Filtered Parts

Fixed an issue under Models > Viewer > Actions > Tracking Status where after filtering the parts in the model and then applying a new Tracking Status, the number of parts set to the new tracking statuses did not match the number of parts in the Filter.

Fixed a Container Company Roles Issue

Fixed an issue where under Admin > Company > Company Roles, a role only had access to Containers, and a user assigned to the company role under Admin > Company > Users was not able to print a Container label.

Fixed an Issue Archiving Packages on the Packages Dashboard

Fixed an issue on the Packages Dashboard where packages from a previously archived project were displayed.

Fixed a STRATUS Workstation Issue

Fixed an issue where the STRATUS Workstation app locked up when Simulation Mode was checked.

Fixed a Naming and Numbering Issue

Fixed a numbering issue where the prefix was not correctly applied based on the Number Rule. In this case, there were 2 different filters for 2 different Numbering Rules, but only one numbering rule applied to both. With the fix, the prefix FW- displays for field welds and W- displays for shop welds.

The following is the filter used in the example above and can be used with ITM and Sysque content for Field Welds.
