Password Requirements

In accordance with NIST Guidelines all GTP Services enforce the following password requirements:

• Characters required include:

  • A - Z

  • a - z

  • 0 - 9

• Password restrictions

  • 16 characters minimum and 64 characters maximum

  • Last 3 passwords cannot be re-used

  • Password must be reset annually

  • While special characters are allowed they are not required.

• We also support a phrase as a password.

Sessions:

• When a user logs onto a device they will remain logged in for 14 days or until:

  • They log off from the user badge

  • They change thier password

  • An administrator disable their account

• When a user logs off of the application they will be logged off on all devices.
