Publish Updates

The following is a list of updates related to the STRATUS Addin for Revit and AutoCAD used for publishing models to STRATUS. This information will help companies determine if they want to update software or wait until the mandatory quarterly update is made available. Customers who encounter a publish issue that has been fixed by an updated version of the software will be required to install the latest software version.

Updated Viewer List to Display Active Publish Sets

In the publish dialog, updated the list of views in the Default 3D View drop-down to only display active publish sets defined in Revit under Collaborate > Publish Settings.

Note: If the user switches between Sheet sets in-between publishes, a popup dialog similar to the following will display alerting them to the change and giving them the option to Cancel or Continue Publish with the Sheet set change.

Removed Quantities Menu Item

Removed the Quantities menu item as its functionality no longer works with the v2 publisher and customers did not use the feature. In addition, the corresponding setting under Admin > Company > Settings > Publish Schedules And Quantities As CSV Files has also been removed. If your company has a reason to use the Quantities function, please submit a Service Desk ticket.

Added Dimensioning Status Toolbar

Added a Dimensioning Status Toolbar for dimension tags to provide users with information when mousing over, adding, or moving a dimension.

To use the Status Toolbar:

  1. Click the Dimensioning Status Toolbar button on the Dimensioning fly-out. The Dimensioning Status Toolbar will display.

     

  2. Hover over any snap point like this Center/Connector and its From or To value will display the part’s BOM Description (Ex. CI No Hub-Storm Drain).

     

  3. Once dimensioning has been placed, hover over any dimension to view the From/To and Point1/Point2 values.

Added Can Book Training Checkbox

Added Can Book Training checkbox to Admin > Company > Users. To use the Can Book Training feature:

  1. Go to Admin > Company > Users and check any user who can schedule training with the GTP Customer Success team. By default, Can Book Training will be checked for anyone whose Company Role is Administrator.

     

    1. Checked - When checked, the SCHEDULE TRAINING button will display for the user and the user can schedule training with the GTP Customer Success team.

    2. Unchecked - When unchecked, the SCHEDULE TRAINING button will not display for the user, and a message to contact the STRATUS company administrator will display.

Added Field STRATUS.Container.Division

The STRATUS.Container.Division field can be added to reports where the report Item Type = Container.

Added PSVR Output Rule for Job Value

Added a .PSVR output rule to populate the Job Value in the .PSVR file with the STRATUS Package Name.

Updated MAJ Files to Include Custom Data Fields

Updated MAJ file generation to include STRATUS custom data fields.

  1. A custom field is published and edited.

     

  2. A MAJ file can be generated and opened with edited custom field on parts:

Updated Markup

  1. Select the Markup Text tool.

  2. Add text using the Markup Text tool.

  3. Click anywhere on the page to set the text. The text entered in step #2 will remain.

  4. Click the text added in step #2. The Text edit panel will display.

  5. To change the font size:

    1. A- - Click A- to reduce the font size.

    2. A+ - Click A+ to enlarge the font size.

    3. Delete - Click the trash can to delete the text.

  6. When done resizing, click anywhere on the page.

Updated Project Roles to be Alphabetized

Updated Admin > Company > Project Roles to be alphabetized.

Updated Fields References to Load Faster

Updated References under Admin > Company > Fields to load faster by adding a Load All checkbox. By default, the Load All checkbox will be unchecked and each Field row will include a Show References for Field button where the references for individual Fields can be displayed.

Fixed Dimension Tool Issues

Fixed the following issues:

  1. When moving an aligned dimension without the Place Aligned Length Measurement tool being active, the snap points were displayed incorrectly.

  2. When Item Numbers had been saved to autoload (Save Default Extensions), the item number tags did not display until the Item Numbers button was toggled off and then back on. The Items Numbers now load automatically.

Fixed Activities Time Filter

Fixed an issue under Admin > Company > Activities where filtering by time did not work.

Fixed Company Role Types Queries Issue

Fixed an issue under Admin > Company > Queries > Company Role Types where the results were incorrect.

Fixed Container Display Associated with an Archived Project

Fixed a Containers > Assign display issue where the page displayed an error when a container associated with an archived project was selected.
