Groupings (Admin)
Groupings of part properties can be used by Filters for the model viewer and by reports for generating sub-sections. A Grouping can be configured on any part property including Stratus Fields and Aliases.

Example of how groupings can be used:
To create a Grouping:
Under Admin > Company > Groupings, click the New Grouping button.
Name – Grouping name. This will display on the Filters page.
Property Names – A comma-separated list of property names.
It is recommended that you copy/paste property names into this list. Entered Property Names are not validated.
For examplePart Property Example - Material, Size
Part Property Example - Service Type, Size
Alias Example - Stratus.Alias.Diameter
Filter Example - Stratus.Field.Pipe Length
Click Save.
To configure the Filter that will use the Grouping:
Under Admin > Company > Filters, either create a new filter or select the Grouping for an existing filter and Save.
Expand the Filter and add a Rule where the Property is Material and Rule is Exists.
To use the Grouping Filter:
Under the Models > Viewer > Filters > Company, select the filter category and then the filter name. The model is filtered by the grouping. Grouping items will use the display format set for the Part Template under Admin > Company > Part Templates > Part selected > Property > Display Format.
