Shift

Shift

Stratus Shift is a labor-tracking solution designed to give fabrication shops real-time insights into their workforce productivity. By seamlessly integrating with Stratus work packages, Stratus Shift enables shop workers to log time against their assigned packages, empowering businesses to better correlate labor costs with estimated material and fabrication data.

Shift QR Scanning Workflows

This section covers companies using QR code scanning methods in Shift instead of mouse-based navigation. Note that both methods can be used together as needed.

QR Codes can be scanned in Shift using either a handheld scanner or a computer-connected camera. Once either scanning method is activated, all workflows function identically. Note: The QR Scanning Workflow does not have the concept of Pause, Pause All, Resume, or Resume All. However,

  • Handheld Scanning: Click anywhere within a Shift page to enable functionality. Detection remains active until focus shifts to a non-Shift window.

  • Camera Scanning: Click the Shift camera button to activate detection. Click it again to deactivate.

    • Initialize the camera by clicking the camera button.

      image-20250723-142617.png
    • The camera video will start to display. Once the camera is on it will be available to scan until the camera button is clicked again.

    • Scan the Worker or Package QR Code as needed. Any workflow described in the QR Scanning Workflows section will work using a camera.
