ADDED Dropdown options in editable Fields can now be driven directly from Lookup Table columns using the new ColumnLookup() function. This can replace manually maintained semicolon-separated value lists with centralized, reusable reference data keeping dropdown options synchronized with source tables automatically.

 

Fixed An issue where company default BOM Mapping settings were not automatically applied to newly published part templates.

Fixed An issue where Stratus Sheets would get stuck loading on first open for Field Orderz packages. Sheets now load correctly without requiring a tab switch.

update Updated the Tables Lookup function to include the IN operator that matches partial text values (e.g., "Steel" matches "Steel Rod"). The IN operator is case-sensitive. For case-insensitive matching, wrap your input property value with either the UPPER() or lower() function.

Administrators can upload their data tables (e.g., labor rates, material costs, project information, shop routing rules, etc.) and reference them in field expressions throughout Stratus. When material costs change or labor rates are updated, a single table update propagates instantly across all projects.

Fixed Fixed an issue in the Assemblies Dashboard where users could not filter for assemblies not yet assigned to a package because the "Empty" value was missing from the Filter drop-down.

Fixed Fixed an issue where designating a secondary menu as the default would not save. For example, checking the checkbox when hovering over the Viewer tab now correctly sets it as the default tab displayed when clicking the Packages button.

Complex objects display in the publishing dialog box (see below), are not fabricated, and for which detailed drawings are not needed (for example, mechanical equipment).

    • Fixed Fixed an issue where the Stratus Workstation app operating in Bundle mode would remain locked in the Done state after performing a Move → Done action. Users can now move the Workstation again without interruption.

    • Fixed Fixed a Stratus Workstation issue where after selecting / deselecting all packages or assemblies, the list did not filter correctly.

  • Stratus Lightning - Optional update to v7.6.178

    • update Some customers have reported service validation errors when using the Stratus Lightning app to publish (Stratus and Field Orderz). While a permanent fix is still in development, this update enables a debug option that captures diagnostic logs during publishing to help the Stratus team identify the root cause. Customers who experience a Lightning publish error can:

      • Download this Stratus Lightning version

      • (Optional) Check the Debug Mode option if you want to view the logs, but they will be sent to the Stratus team regardless

      • When an error is encountered, submit an SD ticket so the log can be reviewed.

Website Changes:

ADDED Added to Task Definitions an Enabled column checkbox so that customers can control which Task Definitions are active. See the Task Definitions (Admin) article for more information.

ADDED Added additional Project Roles for Task item management granularity. Users whose Project Roles previously had Tasks checked will not experience any changes. In addition, for a Project Role where Tasks was checked, the user must also Sign in to the Station and the Task Definition must match the task at hand for it to be visible and functional. For example, if a user has not signed in to the Station, the Task will display, however, it will be disabled.

      • Assembly properties (STRATUS.Part.AssemblyName, AssemblyId, AssemblyCadId, AssemblyQRCode) now return the Custom Mark assembly name when available.

      • Display Modes > Assemblies will display the individual Conduit Assemblies rather than a larger “master assembly”. Note: The “master assembly” is not displayed in the Viewer with Display Mode colors. A link to the “master assembly” can be opened in the Viewer under Actions > Assemblies.

      • When the Assembly Selection option under the Viewer's gear icon is checked, selecting a part in the viewer selects all assemblies containing that part, as a part may belong to multiple assemblies such as a Conduit Assembly and a Revit Assembly.

update Updated .PSVR files to use PipeOD when the PipeID is blank for Watts/3DPP.

Fixed Fixed a Power BI data loss issue that occurred when Field Display Names contained commas. With this fix, when a comma “,” is used in a Field’s Display Name it will be replaced with an underscore “_”.

Fixed Fixed an issue in the Cut List to multi-axis cutting tools workflow where Admin > Company > Part Template overrides failed to apply to the generated 3DPP file.

Fixed Fixed an issue where markup selection in the assembly viewer sometimes caused incorrect zooming or blank screen display. The viewer now stays focused on the appropriate parts, with Cancel automatically bringing back the correct view.

Fixed Fixed an issue where tags remained visible on Stratus Sheets after their corresponding parts were removed. Tags are now properly cleared when parts are deleted and the model is republished.

Fixed Fixed an issue where the Master Report incorrectly positioned the Adjusted Length and Item Number tags relative to their placement in the Stratus Sheet Report. Both reports now display identical tag positioning.

This feature allows VDC departments to selectively control linked file processing by choosing which files to include and selecting between existing or updated versions, balancing faster publish times with the need to incorporate essential updates.

    • After Publish is clicked, the new dialog similar to the following displays.

      • Include References - When checked, any checked Linked Files can be published.

      • Linked Files - All linked files associated with the Model are displayed along with their individual file sizes. The combined file size of all checked files that are being published contributes to the overall publishing duration. All Linked Files that will be used in Stratus need to be checked at all times. Each file has a publish status and each status can have Linked Model Actions:

        • New - The Linked File has never been published. Includes the following actions:

          • Process new file - Publish the new file.

        • Current (not shown) - The Linked File has been published and no changes were detected. Includes the following actions:

          • Use existing published - Do not publish the latest Linked File version, rather, use the existing Linked File that has already been published.

        • Modified - The Linked File has been published and a change has been detected. Includes the following actions:

          • Update with Latest - Publish the latest Linked File version.

          • Use existing published - Do not publish the latest Linked File version, rather, use the existing Linked File that has already been published.

  • Stratus Workstation - None

Website Changes:

update Updated the Prompt User option under Admin > Company > Settings > Conflict Resolution. This option has been hidden due to frequent confusion among companies that previously enabled it. If a company wishes to use this feature, they may submit a request to the Service Desk to have it activated.

Fixed Fixed an API issue where the Tool queue API (tool/{valid-tool-id-goes-here}/download) would crash if no Tool was found for the provided app-key. The API now handles this scenario safely and gives a clear response.

Fixed Fixed a Stratus Shift issue where the Available filter on the View by Worker tab incorrectly included Checked Out workers. The filter now accurately displays only workers marked as Available.
