T-DRILL
T-DRILL Cutting and T-DRILL Collaring cut lists can be exported in the CSV format. The automatic tube cutting center designed by T-DRILL for cutting tubes from both coil and straight lengths. It supports pipe diameters ranging from 1.5 mm to 50.8 mm and can handle materials like aluminum, copper, stainless steel, and steel. Their high-speed automatic collaring machine designed for steel pipe fabrication. It is known as the fastest industrial collaring machine in the world, capable of performing pilot hole drilling, collaring, and trimming in a single process, taking seconds instead of minutes.
Configure Tool
Configure a Tool under Admin > Company > Tools. Note the generated Tool Id. See the Tools article for more information. Below is an example.
Repeat these steps to create a Tool for T-DRILL Collaring.
Configure Station
Configure a Station under Admin > Company > Stations. See the Stations article for more information.
Note: Set the Division so that the cut list displays on the Shops tab.
Repeat these steps to create a Station for T-DRILL Collaring.
Configure Cut List Mapping
Configure Cut List Mappings under Admin > Company > Part Templates > Cut List Mapping. See the Cut List Mappings article for more information.
Example Cut List Mapping for 2041. This Cut List Mapping will be sent to the T-DRILL Cutting tool.
Example Cut List Mapping for 2875. This Cut List Mapping will be sent to the T-DRILL Collaring tool.
Generate a .CSV Output File for T-DRILL Cutting and T-DRILL Collaring
To generate a .CSV file for the T-DRILL Cutting and T-DRILL Collaring tools:
Open a package that includes a 2041 part that also has a 2875 part.
In the Cut Lists tab:
Click Generate Cut Lists. 2 or more cut lists will display.
Set cut list that includes the 2875 part to the T-DRILL Collaring station.
Set cut list that includes the 2041 part to the T-DRILL Cutting station.
Select the cut lists and then click the Send Cut List to Station button.
The cut lists will be sent to their respective stations. In addition, the Station will be disabled, the Status will be set to In Progress 0%, and the Send Cut List to Station button will be disabled.
Click the Shops tab.
In the Shop drop-down, select the Division set for the station (Ex. Pipe Shop).
In this example, both the T-DRILL Cutting station and the T-DRILL Collaring stations include 1 cut list.
Click the Station name in the list (Ex. T-DRILL Cutting).
Click the Tool tab. All cut lists sent to the tool will display.
To download the .CSV file, click the Send to Tool button. The file downloaded to the computer will include the package name, Material, Size, and date followed by .CSV.
Note: Since under Admin > Company > Tools, the Tool Type is set to T-DRILL Cutting, the file export will be different than the tool set to T-DRILL Collaring.
Repeat from step 7, selecting the T-DRILL Collaring station instead.
