The viewer Settings are common to all viewers (Models, Packages, and Assemblies) although some settings are specific to one viewer as noted.

Multiple Part Selection
The Multiple Part Selection toggle checkbox is used primarily by tablet and iPad users who can't use the Ctrl or Shift key along with the mouse click to select multiple parts or assemblies. This feature tells STRATUS that any part or assembly selected should remain selected until a non-object like canvas white space is selected.
Viewers: Available in all viewers (Models, Packages, and Assemblies).
To use the Multiple Part Selection feature, under the Settings icon:
Click the Click to Change Settings gear icon.
Click the Multiple Part Selection checkbox.
Click either a part or space on the canvas and the sub-menu will disappear.
Click multiple parts and they will all be selected.
Or, click the first part, the last part, and then the Select Connected tool to select all parts between the 2 initially selected parts.
Once parts or assemblies are selected, Tools like those under Actions can be used.
Click in empty space to clear your part selections.
The Dynamic Tags toggle checkbox can be used to declutter tags by removing tags that overlap other tags from the display.
Viewers: Available in all viewers (Models, Packages, and Assemblies).
To use the Dynamic Tags feature:
Click the Click to Change Settings gear icon.
When the Dynamic Tags checkbox is unchecked, all of the tags display, overlap, and can be difficult to use.
When the Dynamic Tags checkbox is checked, overlapping tags no longer display and continue to not display when zooming and orbiting views.
Decimal Inch (Feet Inch) Toggle
For Imperial models, dimensions can be displayed in Decimal Inches or Feet Inches in the Assemblies > Viewer.
Viewers: Available in all viewers (Models, Packages, and Assemblies).
To toggle between Feet Inch and Decimal Inch dimensions:
Click the Click to Change Settings gear icon.
When Decimal Inch is unchecked, dimensions display in Feet Inch.
When Decimal Inch is checked, dimensions display Decimal Inch.
Cache Model
The Cache (pronounced “Cash”) Model is a feature that makes a local copy of model files to improve the performance of the viewer for models, packages, and assemblies. When a model is cached, the model geometry is cached, not the STRATUS data or properties. Once cached, the model loads from the device’s local storage rather than from BIM 360 and will load 20%-80% faster depending on your internet connection speed (those with slower internet speeds will see more improvement), hard disk speed, and model size. Depending on the device, there may be limits to the amount of storage available, so the user can manage the cache from their user badge My Account > Manage Cache tab. For more information, see the Manage Cache article.
Viewers: Available in all viewers (Models, Packages, and Assemblies).
To use the Cache Model feature:
The first time a model loads, the Cache Model prompt will display.
Alternatively, at any time, click the Click to Change Settings gear icon.
When the Cache Model checkbox is unchecked, the model is not cached.
When the Cache Model checkbox is checked, the model is cached.
