06 December 2024 - Stratus Works v1.0
Stratus Works v1.0 Installer
Note |
---|
Previous versions of WireWorks and Conduit Studio must be uninstalled before installing the Stratus Works v1.0 addin. Please see the notes below before installing. |
This release covers a wide swath of changes. The first thing to cover is that WireWorks has been rebranded as Stratus Works and is a consolidation of the WireWorks and Conduit Studio applications. In some regards, this is the combination of the same two applications you have come to love. In other regards, there are some changes to consider with this release.
The global settings for Works are no longer stored on an external settings file and are now stored directly in the Revit project document. What this means for you:
You will no longer have to store your settings files in network or shared folders and the settings will follow the Revit project.
The settings were not transferable between previous versions of WireWorks and Conduit Studio meaning you will have to reconfigure Stratus Works settings. We recommend taking screenshots of your current WireWorks and Conduit Studio settings so that you can get things right back to where they were.
A UI refresh that combines the settings from WireWorks and Conduit Studio.
When a license is activated, the Revit user’s username will be added to the activation notes in the
license portal.

- Panel Name mapping, as well as Panel Schedule configurator, now pull from instance properties as well as type properties.
- You can now generate Panel Schedule exports when a panel name starts with a number.
- Under certain circumstances, when the region of the bounding box around an equipment family intersected the region of the bounding box around another equipment family and these families were connected with a conduit drawn between them, they would not reconcile in the Schematic and would report incorrect lengths in an Excel export. This has been resolved.
