The Services page imports your services from your database into Field Orderz. The services page is only accessible to users with the Service access level. For more information on services, click here: Vimeo Video

The bottom DBs are integrated DBs that will always appear. FieldOrderzPipe, FieldOrderzDuct, and FieldOrderzCatalogs

  1. Click the + to import a service

  2. Select the database you uploaded from Lightning

    • For more information on uploading services through Lightning, click here: Lightning

  3. Select the profile

  4. Select the service or services you wish to import

    • On the right, it displays if the service has already been imported or not

  5. Click import selected

    • Checking import as catalog will also create a catalog from the service

  6. Wait for the progress bar to complete, and the page will auto-refresh

Displayed Information:

  • Warning Icon: The warning icon indicates that the service will need to be refreshed

    • Note: If after refreshing the service, it still has a warning arrow, delete the service and reimport

  • Service Name: The Service name from the DB

  • Group: The DB Group

  • ABV: Avrevation in the DB

  • Profile: The profile the service is associated with in the DB

  • Catalog Exists?: If there is a catalog associated with the service

Service Action Items:

Clicking the three dots beside a service will bring up the action menu for the service.

  1. Configure: Allows users to edit the service

  2. Duplicate as Catalog: Duplicates the service as a catalog so you can use the service in the cart for extra BOM items

  3. Delete: Delete the service

Toggle Items:

  1. Toggle Delete

    • For mass deleting of services, click toggle delete, check the services you wish to delete, then click delete.

    • Note services are hard-deleted

Configuring a Pipe Service

Pipe service configuration is used to make small changes to a service without having to make the making changes on the database. Note that the configuration changes will be overridden if a change has been made to the database and the service has to be refreshed.

  • Clicking on the color section will allow the user to change the color that the pipe will display in the app

  • Checking these connectors will allow them to be used in the Field Orderz app as end-prep overrides

  • Aliasing: Connectors can be aliased by clicking the three dots and clicking rename. This alias will appear in the app instead of the connectivity and group

  • The parts page displays all the parts that are in a service

Configuring a Part:

  1. Changing Part Icon: You can change the icon for a part

  2. Status: The status of a part is how the Field Orderz App will bring in the part

    • Autofill- The part automatically draws in the sketch

    • Excluded- The part will have to be manually placed into the sketch

    • Supported- The part is brought into the app but will have to be manually placed

    • Unsupported- The part will not be brought into the app

  3. Connectors: Checked connectors will display in the app as an option to change the pipe end prep to

    • Be sure to click update part/ update service to save any changes made

  4. Preview: Shows a 3D preview of the mesh

  5. Options: This page allows you to change more in-depth part options that normally would be controlled in the DB

Configuring a Duct Service:

Note: Duct services must be configured before converting them to a catalog. The catalog is then assigned to the project, not the duct service. Do not delete the duct service from the Field Orderz website, as the catalog pulls data from it.

  5. Specs: Checks what specs are selectable for a part in the app

  6. Materials: Allows users to override the material that is brought in through the spec

    • Insulation spec must be selected or it will not be brought into the app

  7. Connectors: Allows the user to override the connector for a part

    • Be sure to click update part/ update service to save any changes made
