The Package Items tab displays items (parts or assemblies) for individual packages and includes the item numbers for parts in the package and assemblies in the package, current tracking status, delete a part or assembly from the package, open an assembly in the assembly viewer, task workflow assignment, and edit the tracking status.  You can also use standard grid features to sort, filter, and search for packages.

Tracking Status

The current Tracking Status for the Package displays in the package filter row. Individual package parts or assemblies will initially have the same tracking status as the package but can be changed independently to track work on the package in the items grid. A package can only be edited when it is in a "Can Package" tracking status. "Can Package" is a setting associated with the tracking status that tells STRATUS whether or not the package can be edited or not. Go to the Tracking tab to change the tracking status as needed. When you return to the Items tab, refresh the page to display the changes.

If a Processor has been selected for package, the Processor (Ex. Project Management) and Tracking Status Group [Office] will display to the left of the Tracking Status.

Task Workflow Assignment

A Task Workflow is an optional feature where a task sequence can be assigned to a package.  When a task workflow is used, one or more tasks are added to a Kanban board where tasks are managed as To Do, In Progress, or Done.  In order to use this feature, Task Workflows need to be defined under Admin > Company > Task Workflows. See the Task - Categories, Definitions, Workflows for information about how to configure a task workflow.

A package can include items that could be routed to different task workflows.
