03/20/24 - Updated Parts Merged Value Display

A new feature was introduced in v7.1.1. on how merged values are displayed across STRATUS. Updated Parts Merged Value Display

As rows were merged, the ability to edit editable fields in assembly parts reports was lost. With this fix and other changes, editable fields are editable.

• If the quantity counts of a report (the Quantity checkbox) are enabled

  • Remove the bolded “(n)” count from the table cells when n = quantity for all columns.

  • When n = 1, show “(1)”

The change includes additional updates and business rules:

1. For a Report where:

   1. Item Type = Part

   2. Report Field has Merge Like Values set to Yes

      

2. The following business rules will be applied:

   1. If the quantity counts of a report (the Quantity checkbox) are enabled

      1. Remove the bolded “(n)” count from the table cells when n = quantity for all columns.

      2. When n = 1, show “(1)”

3. As a result:

   1. Assemblies > Viewer where all merged parts in the Quantity are the same.

      

   2. Assemblies > Viewer where merged parts in the Quantity are different, the (n) value will display.

      

   3. Packages > Viewer > Items where (n) value displays.
