Packages Page

The packages page is where all the Field Orderz packages go once uploaded or checked into the website. The packages page is accessible to any user, regardless of access level. For more information on the packages page, click here: Vimeo Video.

 

 

On the packages page, you will select your division, then project, and the complete list of packages will appear.

There are three ways as package can be displayed on the packages page:

  1. Checked into the website- Shown by the pencil - These packages can fully be edited

  2. Checked out to a user- Shown by the lock- can only be converted to checked in

  3. Checked into STRATUS- Shown by the link- Only has reporting functions

 

Editing a Package:

To edit a package, make sure the package is checked into the website, then click on the package:

  1. Sketch Name: The user can rename a sketch

  2. Assign To: The user can reassign it to another user

  3. On-Site Date: Here, the date that the package is set to be on-site can be changed

  4. Status: The status that the package is editable

  5. Order Name: Here, the package can be grouped with other packages in order by setting them to all have the same order name

Once changes have been made, click Save Changes.

Users can also delete packages from the website by clicking delete as well.

Package Reporting:

When a checked-in package is selected, the reporting functions appear:

  1. Export PDF: Downloads a PDF report of the sketch images, BOM, Cutlist, and Picklist

  2. Cutlist: Downloads a .csv file for the pipe cut lengths

  3. Picklist: Downloads a .csv file for all the picked items

  4. Sketch BOM: Downloads a .csv file of the BOM for all the items in the sketch

  5. Overall BOM: Downloads a .csv file of the BOM of both the cart and sketch

  6. Estimating BOM: Downloads a .csv file of the BOM with estimating data included in it

  7. MAJ: Downloads the .maj files for the package. Multiple .majs may be downloaded if catalogs were used

  8. PCF: Downloads the .pcf file for the package

  9. Open in Web Viewer: Opens a new window in which you can see the sketch in 3D

    • Useful for FAB shops to be able to visualize the sketch in 3D

  10. Upload to STRATUS: If the package is in a STRATUS project, this will allow the user to push the package to STRATUS

Refreshing with STRATUS:

In a STRATUS project, if changes have been made to a package in STRATUS and you want the changes to be displayed in Field Orderz, click the sync button beside the project, and it will pull all the changes made to that project from STRATUS.
