An Alias is the way to identify different property names in different parts that mean the same thing. Once defined, an alias can be used in a filter or report. By defining an alias to combine properties from different parts, you can configure report without having to worry if you are getting the right value from each part.

Configure
To configure an alias:
Under Admin > Company > Aliases, click the New Alias button and name the Alias. For example:
Diameter – Model Properties that contain Diameter values include Diameter, Diameter Trade Size, Duct Diameter and more.
Weight – Model Properties that contain Weight values include Total Weight, Weight, and more.
Once saved, expand the alias to define Alias Properties and click the New Alias Property button.
Click the Name to select the property.
To reference a STRATUS Field, select the field name (Ex. STRATUS.Field.Weight).
Repeat until all Alias properties have been added to the Alias.
Use the Sequence column to tell STRATUS which values should be used first in filters and reports:
The lowest sequence number is ordered at the top making it your first choice.
Numbers can be negative.
Sequence numbers do not have to be unique.
STRATUS will use the first alias it finds a value for.
Add Alias to a Report
To Add an Alias to a Report:
Edit the Report Fields of a new or existing report where Format is ZPL or CSV.
Click the Property Name and select the Alias.
