For example, assembly DMV-ROOF-0001 was selected, but then assembly DMV-ROOF-0002 was selected and is now highlighted in the viewer.

      2. Keep Open After Selecting - When clicking in the search results, Item A will highlight both in the viewer and in the search results. When Item B is clicked in the search results, both Item A and Item B will be highlighted. For example, assembly DMV-ROOF-0001 was selected and now assembly DMV-ROOF-0002 has been selected and both are highlighted in the viewer.

iii. Checked Exact Match (Case Sensitive) - When checked, the search criteria will only display results when the entire Match On value is matched exactly.
        1. In this case, where the search criteria is (Ex. QA), No search results match the Exact Match search criteria.

        2. In this case, where the search criteria is (Ex. QA-001), search results that exactly match the Exact Match search criteria display.

Search criteria can be entered using any of the following three methods:

  1. Type text into the text box.

    1. For example, enter search characters (Ex. H). As characters are entered matching Packages, Assemblies, and Parts will display in the list.

  2. Scan a QR Code using a handheld scanner. Note: The QR URL settings must be checked under Match On.

    1. Before scanning, the Viewer Search page must be the active page (Ex. the last mouse click must be on the page).

      1. (Optional) - The Scan QR code using handheld scanner button does not have to be clicked to scan a QR code. The purpose of this button is to remind users that a handheld scanner can be used to enter a QR code URL. If the button is clicked the following message will display.

    2. Use the handheld scanner to scan the QR code.

    3. The QR code will display in the search text and in the search results.

  3. Scan a QR Code using a tablet camera. Note: The QR URL settings must be checked under Match On.

    1. Click the Scan a QR Code using a tablet camera button. The Scan QR Code with Camera or Reader dialog will display where the camera will be selected.

    2. Point the camera to the QR code until the Scan Successful popup message displays in the bottom left corner.

    3. The QR code will display in the search text and in the search results.

    1. Currently, Package 123-FP-ROOF-0003 is open in the viewer.
