BIM 360 Docs: Projects, Users, and Apps Integration
A project and user must be added to your BIM 360 Docs account before they can be added to your company in STRATUS.
Stratus Apps Integration
Before STRATUS can be used with your BIM 360 account, you must activate the STRATUS App integration.
Click the 9 dots, select Account Admin.
Click the Apps tab.
If the Apps tab does not display, you’ll need to request that the Apps integrations tab be enabled by sending an email to jared.coelho@autodesk.com. In your email include your company Account ID.
Once enabled, click the Apps tab, click the STRATUS app button, and then click the Add to BIM 360 button. This will enable STRATUS to sync with Docs.
Your STRATUS administrator can now add users to your STRATUS company and to a Project.

BIM 360 Projects
STRATUS can synchronize BIM 360 project profile information to the STRATUS project.
To create new BIM 360 Project:
Login to BIM 360 Docs, click the 9 dots and then select Account Admin.
Click the Project tab.
Click the Add button. The Create Project Profile dialog will display. During the link process, BIM 360 Docs project information populates fields like project job number, project type, address, and dates in STRATUS. If a BIM 360 Docs project has already been sync’d at least once with STRATUS, then, fields will only be sync’d to STRATUS when they are empty. STRATUS will not overwrite existing values using the Refresh Projects from BIM 360 button.
Below is an example of BIM 360 Docs project information that can be sync'ed to the STRATUS project.

A user must click Accept in the email they receive to join the project.
Once the user accepts the invitation by clicking the link in the invitation, you will receive an invitation acceptance confirmation email.
In addition to adding new members, you can also manage member’s project permissions on this tab. Your STRATUS administrator will configure more granular project roles and permissions within STRATUS.
Similarly, in STRATUS, you’ll need to add users to project and set their project role for each project.
Permission the Project Files folders and files
Once a BIM 360 project has been created and BIM 360 users have been added to the project, you may need to permission the folders and / or files depending on how you have configured your document management system. If a STRATUS user has access to your BIM 360 but doesn't have access to the project, project folder, or model / drawing, then they will receive an Unauthorized error in STRATUS when they attempt to view the model.
Click the 9 dots and select Document Management.
The Plans folder limits the file types that can be stored in it, so STRATUS only allows publishing models to the Project Files folder.
Click the option list button and select the Permissions option.
The Folder Settings Permission tab will display. You can assign permission to individuals or you can create a project role and give the project role folder permissions.
