Added Long Date Format Options to Profile
Under Account Settings > Profile, added Long Date format options to provide control over how this date displays. Long Date is associated with STRATUS.Report.CurrentDateLong field and can be added to Templates and Reports.
The following Long Date options are available:
dddd, MMMM d, yyyy = Monday, October 9, 2023
MMMM d, yyyy = October 9, 2023
dddd, d MMMM, yyyy = Monday, 9 October, 2023
d MMMM, yyyy = 9 October, 2023
Added STRATUS.Field.XXXX to Part Templates
Added STRATUS.Field.XXXX to Part Templates so that users can push part-level data and calculations back to the authoring software (Revit/CAD/CAM). These field/property values will be editable in STRATUS Properties and Reports and be visible in Filters.
Note: Any STRATUS.Field (Admin > Company > Fields) will display in the Part Templates > STRATUS Field drop-down, however, only those configured as a Revit Instance parameter or a Fab Database Custom Item Data field will be pushed back to the authoring software. See below for authoring software setup instructions below.
To use the STRATUS Field in Part Templates:
After the Revit Instance parameter or a Fab Database Custom Item Data field has been published to STRATUS (includes using GTP Lighting), it is available as a STRATUS.Field.
Under Admin > Company > Part Templates, a new STRATUS Field column has been added. The STRATUS Field drop-down is only available for properties whose Editable checkbox is checked. All STRATUS.Fields display in the STRATUS Field drop-down. Select a STRATUS.Field for the associated Property.
Properties - View / Edit the editable field
Click on a part whose Part Template was edited above.
The values will display and are editable.
Report - Add a STRATUS Field to a Report
Select a Report Field Property Name that was configured under Part Templates > STRATUS Field to be pushed back to the authoring software and set the Report Field Format according to the type of data used in the Property.
Run the report. The values, if they exist, will display.
Filter - Add a STRATUS Field to a Filter
Add a STRATUS.Field.XXXX that was configured under Part Templates > STRATUS Field to be pushed back to the authoring software to a Filter.
Navigate to any viewer (Ex. Models > Viewer), open Filters > Company and the STRATUS Fields will display.
STRATUS pushes each qualified STRATUS.Field parameter/property data back into the authoring software:
During import/publish process.
When a MAJ file is generated from STRATUS.
Review: How to create a parameter within the authoring software
Setup: Revit Property Parameter (Instance)
For any Revit Property Parameter (Instance) published to STRATUS, the parameter is exposed in STRATUS and can be selected under Admin > Company > Part Templates > Template > STRATUS Field and as a result, data can be pushed back into Revit.
In a Revit model under Mange > Project Parameters, create one or more Instance parameters.
In a Revit model under Mange > Project Parameters, create one or more Instance parameters, similar to the following, to be used in a STRATUS Part Template.
Note: This feature will not work with a Type parameter. In this example, field parameters have been created for each data type.
Once created, these parameters display in Revit.
Publish the model so that these parameters are available in STRATUS with Reports and Part Templates.
Setup: Fab Database
For any Fab Database published to STRATUS, the Custom Item Data field is exposed in STRATUS and can be selected under Admin > Company > Part Templates > Template > STRATUS Field and as a result, data will be pushed back into the Fab Database or be part of the MAJ file generated in STRATUS.
Add Custom Item Data fields as needed.
Add Custom Item Data fields to the Takeoff > Customize Main Takeoff as needed.
Publish the Fab Database using GTP Lightning.
Publish the model that includes the Custom Item Data fields.
Added a Bend Instructions Tab to Assemblies Viewer
Added a Bend Instructions tab to the Assemblies Viewer that only displays when the assembly includes a Greenlee or Conduit Studio bend file attachment.
To populate and view the Bend Instructions:
In STRATUS under Admin > Company > Setting > AutoCAD & Revit, check the Publish Conduit Assemblies (formerly named Publish Greenlee BendWorks Assemblies) checkbox.
On the desktop computer, place the .txt bend instruction file attachment(s) in a folder.
In Revit, set the Split Conduit Output Folder to the bend instruction file attachments folder.
In Revit, publish the model using the GTP STRATUS Addin. Note: In BIM 360, the attachment will be placed in the model’s TXT subfolder.
In STRATUS, once the model has published, the Bend Instructions tab will display for each assembly where an attachment was configured (step #3) in Revit. The Bend Instructions tab displays the instructions and includes options for Show Full Screen and Zoom.
The bend instructions are also included in the assembly’s Attachments tab where a user can Click to toggle preview to view the file.
Added Attachment Preview
Added to assemblies the ability to preview an attachment (Only: .txt, .pdf, .csv, and a .jpg) in the Attachments tab.
To preview an attachment:
Hover over the attachment and the Click to toggle preview message will display. Notice too that the row highlights.
Click in the row anywhere in the area highlighted in red (above) to preview the file in the Attachments tab. Note: Clicking on the file link will also open the file in a separate tab where it can be downloaded.
Added Replace() Function
Added the Replace() Function.
The Replace() expression function can be used to replace one string with another string.
Syntax: Replace(inputstring, stringtoreplace, replacewithstring)
inputstring- A original list of values.
stringtoreplace - The string to be replaced.
replacewithstring - The string to replace with.
Example: Replace({STRATUS.Part.HoleInfo},";","\\&")
Added FilterArray() Function
Added the FilterArray() Function.
The FilterArray() expression function can be used to filter results in or out. This could be used, for example, to filter results on the Packages Dashboard.
Syntax: FilterArray(inputArray, arrayOfItemsToFilter, boolFilterInclude)
inputArray - A semicolon separated list of values to filter
arrayOfItemsToFilter - A semicolon separated list of values to filter
boolFilterInclude - The optional third argument, defaulted to false where the arrayOfItemsToFilter are removed, is true if the results should include only the arrayOfItemsToFilter values.
Case 1: FilterArray({STRATUS.Field.Array Example Array Creation},"Filter this text out", false)
Case 2: FilterArray({STRATUS.Field.Array Example Remove Blanks Case 1},"", false)
Case 3: FilterArray({STRATUS.Field.Array Example Array Creation},"Filter this text out", false)
Added Containers to Display Modes
Added the Containers tab to Display Modes in the Models Viewer and Packages Viewer. Each model can include more than one container and each container can include sub-containers that are indented under the parent container. Each parent container includes a tab and All is selected by default. Filters > Containers display the same counts as Display Modes.
Added to STRATUS Workstation the Stock Display Units Display
Added to the STRATUS Workstation app, a display for Stock Display Units.
To set Stock Display Units and view the icon:
Open the STRATUS Workstation app and click Settings > Cut.
Click the Stock Display Units drop-down and select an option (Ex. Fractional Feet-Inches) and Save.
On the STRATUS Workstation app, the icon and value will display.
Updated Import Data
Updated the CSV and Excel export to include an Id column on the following pages.
Admin > Company > Containers
Packages > Dashboard
Assemblies > Dashboard
Containers Example: To export the Containers to CSV:
Download the CSV file - Click the CSV button. The CSV is downloaded and can be opened.
Edit Existing Data and Import - To edit existing containers for import, edit any data value except Division and Id. All Names must be unique. When done Click the Import CSV button. In this example, the Name in the highlighted row was edited.
Add a New Row - To add a new row:
Add the data and leave the Id blank.
Click Import CSV. The new rows will display.
Click the CSV button to export the table and the new rows will have been assigned an Id.
Duplicate Id - Copy a row, change the Name to a unique value, but duplicate an Id.
The row will be imported, however it will replace the row that previously had the Id.
After clicking CSV to export, you’ll see that CSG _ Pallet _ 005 which had the duplicate Id was overwritten to CSG _ Pallet _ 006 and takes over the Id.
Duplicate a Name - Duplicate a Name and Import. An error similar to the following will display.
Updated Display Modes When Status Includes 0 Parts
Updated Display Modes (Ex. Assemblies, Packages, Categories, and Tracking) to only display the Tracking Status when the number of parts in the tracking status are greater than 0.
For example:
The following Tracking Statuses will no longer display.
The following Tracking Statuses will display.
Updated Button Labels to Autodesk Construction Cloud
Updated button labels to read Autodesk Construction Cloud:
Admin > Company > Projects
Admin > Company > Users

The functionality of all Filter buttons has been updated as follows:
Click the Filter button and then the Filter drop-down.
The option list will display. Select one or more options like SLV001-L1_B-Chilled Water System and then MP007-L1_B-Heating Water System.
The selected item(s) will:
Display in their own alphabetically sorted list at the top of the drop-down.
Each selected item will be highlighted blue and include an x.
The data table will be filtered to the selected items.
To de-select an item and remove it from the selected list, either:
Click the option’s x.
Click the blue highlighted row.
The de-selected option returns to it’s place in the non-selected option list.
The data table will be filtered to the selected items.
Select All - Click the Select All button to select all options in the drop-down list. The list options will be:
Sorted alphabetically.
Highlighted blue.
Include an x to deselect.
The data table will be filtered to the selected items.

Sorted alphabetically.
Close - To close the Filter drop-down list dialog, do one of the following:
Click the Close button.
Click anywhere on the page that is not a link or button.
Updated Part Property Editability
Updated an editable Part Property (Ex. Product Description) so that when it exists for some parts but not others, it will not be editable when it does not exist for the part.
For example:
This Part Template includes the Product Description property.
One of the parts in this package does not have this property and is now disabled (red box). In addition, other parts that include the property can be edited.
Updated STRATUS Workstation Filtering
Updated STRATUS Workstation Filter Rows. For example:
Click the Filter Rows button to display the Filters and Grouping dialog.
Click either the Model, Package, Spool / Assembly, or Area drop-down. When there are multiple options in the drop-down, each is checked by default. As options are unchecked, they are filtered out of the list of the Material and size data and all selected options display instead of the All label (Ex. All Packages changes to 123--LEVEL 1, etc.).
Unchecking models in the Models drop-down will limit the options for Package, Spool / Assembly, or Area drop-down to the selected models. Similarly, unchecking packages will limit the options in the Spool / Assembly, or Area drop-down to the selected models and packages.
Filter settings are not saved, so the next time STRATUS Workstation is opened, none of the previous sessions' filters will be selected.
Fixed a Not Editable Part Property Issue
Fixed an issue where editable part properties could not be edited in the viewer using the Properties tool because the property name included a special character.
The following special characters can be used in property names:
Character | Explanation |
---|---|
< | Less than or angle brackets |
> | Greater than or angle brackets |
| | Pipe or vertical bar |
? | Question mark |
* | Asterisk or mathematical multiplication |
. | Period |
: | Colon |
The following characters cannot be used:
Character | Explanation |
---|---|
\ | Backslash |
“ | Quote or double quotes |

With the Save Autodesk viewer settings (all viewers) button checked:
In any viewer, when a change is made under Autodesk Settings (Ex. Environment > Field), the change will be applied to all STRATUS viewers.
Fixed Show Entries User Selection Save
Fixed the Show Entries selection so that the user’s selection is saved per page.
Fixed a Report Sort Order Issue Using Hidden Report Columns
Fixed an issue where a Report Field configured as a Hidden field, was impacting the sort order of the report. Hidden fields should not impact the sort order of the report.
In this example:
The Report Field has a Sort Index = 0 and Hidden is checked or Unchecked.
Checked - When Hidden is Checked on the STRATUS.Assembly.TrackingStatus report field, the table is sorted by the STRATUS.Assembly.Name field.
Unchecked - When Hidden is Unchecked on the STRATUS.Assembly.TrackingStatus report field, the table sorts on it since its Sort Index is the lowest number.
Fixed an Issue Removing Lightning Catalog Parts from Package
Fixed an issue removing Catalog Parts from a package.
Fixed Issue Loading Users Default Tab for Packages
Fixed an issue where a user had a default tab selected (Ex. Attachments) that was to load after clicking the Packages > Viewer button, however, the Item tab opened by default. Note: Hovering over a tab and checking the checkbox sets the tab as the default tab.
