Added Paging to Packages Dashboard
On the Packages Dashboard, paging improves how data is loaded. All Package Names and non-calculated fields will load first. Calculated data will continue to load and replace skeleton placeholders on the dashboard until all data is populated. The benefit is that while data is populating, functions like sorting, filtering, package links, generate MAJ, update Status, and edit fields are available. Totals will continue to update as row values are calculated. The data table loading indicator (red bar) will display until all data displays in the data table.
Added Ability to Increment Package Naming and Numbering Across All Projects
Added the ability to increment Package Naming and/or Package Numbering across all projects in the company using the Unique Across All Project setting under Admin > Company > Naming and Numbering.
In the example below, Package Numbering is set to number each new package uniquely across all projects, while Package Naming can have the same Package Name across multiple projects.
Under Admin > Company > Naming and Numbering the Unique Across All Projects setting is set to the following for Package Naming and Package Numbering.
Checked - When Checked numbering will be unique across all projects which provides a way to sequentially increment a field like Package Category Abbreviation across all projects.
Unchecked - When Unchecked, numbering will not be unique across all projects which means the same name can be used across multiple projects.
The result of the above settings is that:
The Package Number is unique across all models in this project.
And the unique Package Number continues in this project.
Added Ability to Increment Naming Convention Anywhere
Added the ability to use the Incrementor field anywhere in the Naming Convention. Previously, a Naming Convention could only be applied as the last field in the Naming Convention string. The Incrementor field will increment the field to the left of the incrementor. If the Incrementor field is placed as the first field in the Naming Convention string then all new packages will increment. Note: The incrementor can only occur once in a Naming Convention string (Ex. Package Naming “string”).
For example:
The Incrementor XXX field has been placed to the right of the Package Category Abbreviation field.
When creating a new package, the naming convention will display.
Once the package is created, the incrementor will increment the Package Category Abbreviation field since it is left of the Incrementor field in the Naming Convention string.
Added Toolbar Active/Inactive Icon Color Indicators
When a selection is made within the STRATUS toolbar tools Filter or Display Mode, when the tool is closed, its toolbar icon will remain green to indicate that the view has been impacted by a selection. Below are the different icon color differences depending on the actions taken by the user.
The toolbar icon will be inactive (white icon background) when:
The tool is closed and no selection has been made.
The toolbar icon will be active (blue icon background) when:
The tool is open but no selection within the tool has been made.
The tool is open and a selection within the tool has been made.
With the selection made in step 2 (above) still active, the toolbar icon will be active (green icon background) when:
The tool is closed and a selection within the tool was made.
Note: The green icon will turn to the blue icon when hovering over the green icon.
After the viewer page is refreshed:
Display Modes - The toolbar icon will always be inactive (white icon background).
Filters - The toolbar icon color is dependent on whether or not the last saved Filter settings are automatically applied. These settings are located under Account Settings > Profile for Apply last session Model filter settings on load and/or Apply last session Package filter settings on load. See the Filter Loading from Saved Settings article for more information.
Checked - When checked the previously saved Filter settings will be checked and the toolbar icon will be active (green icon background).
Unchecked - When unchecked, no Filters will be checked after a page refresh, therefore the toolbar icon will be inactive (white icon background).
Updated Messaging for Revit/AutoCAD Always Right Setting
Under Admin > Company > Settings:
Either AutoCAD Always Right or Revit is Always Right is set.
In addition, under Admin > Project > Setting, the selected project also has set the AutoCAD Always Right or Revit is Always Right.
Then, in STRATUS when a user attempts to do any of the following actions:
Create Assembly (Models Viewer and Packages Viewer Actions)
Rename Assembly (Assemblies Viewer and Assemblies Dashboard)
Delete Assembly (Assemblies Dashboard)
Add Parts to Assembly (Models Viewer and Packages Viewer Actions)
Remove Parts from Assembly (Models Viewer and Packages Viewer Actions)
A message similar to the following will display:
Updated Publish/Import Messaging for Deleted Models
Updated messaging when a user publishes a model to STRATUS, deletes the model in STRATUS, then attempts to import the deleted model using the STRATUS Addin in AutoCAD or Revit.
Updated Activities Package Logging
Under Admin > Company > Activities, anytime a part or assembly is added to or removed from a package an Activities entry will be logged noting what was added/removed, from where, and the route it was done. Below is an example:
Renamed Workstation Names
Renamed the following desktop applications:
From GTP STRATUS TigerStop Workstation to STRATUS Workstation.
From GTP STRATUS Print Workstation to STRATUS Print.
Improved Packages Viewer Performance
Improved the performance of the Packages Viewer, especially for large packages.
Fixed Issue with Display Modes
Fixed an issue when attempting to click a Display Modes tab before the model had fully loaded. A “wait spinner” will display if a Display Modes tab is clicked before the model has loaded.
Fixed a Report Title Spacing Issue
Fixed an issue where the space between letters in a Report Title did not display correctly. The titles below display correctly.
Fixed a Template Report Issue
Fixed a Template Report issue where the STRATUS.Assembly.ProjectName and STRATUS.Assembly.ProjectNumber fields were included on a template but did not display in the Assemblies Viewer report.
Fixed a Container Issue Updating the Package Tracking Status
Fixed an issue where after updating the tracking status of items in a Container from the Containers page, the package tracking status did not display the correct tracking status in the Packages Viewer.
Fixed a Project Roles Issue in Assemblies Viewer
Fixed a Project Roles issue where settings under Admin > Company > Project Roles > Assemblies > Viewer > Toolbar > Filters did not affect the Assemblies Viewer filters. In the example below, Containers is not a filter for the Shop Station Operator project role.
