Added GTP STRATUS Import / Publish Silent Commands for Revit

Added the GTP STRATUS Import Silent and GTP STRATUS Publish Silent commands for Revit. Running these commands from the Revit ribbon will import and publish the model without any prompts or selections. The real power of these commands to enable Revit customers to schedule the model import/publish process by calling these Revit commands with a separate (non-GTP) tool.

Perquisites to use either GTP STRATUS Import Silent and GTP STRATUS Publish Silent commands:

  1. Install the v6.1.3 STRATUS Addin.

  2. Open a model that has been previously published. If the model path has changed since the last publish, using this tool will result in an error.

  3. Make sure you are Signed In.

  4. Check that STRATUS is always right or Revit is always right under Admin > Company > Settings > AutoCAD & Revit > Specific to Revit > Assembly Conflict Resolution.

    1. Note: For any conflicts, there will not be any prompts and the tool will automatically accept all defaults and import data.

To manually use the GTP STRATUS Publish Silent command:

  1. Under External Tools, click GTP STRATUS Publish Silent.

  2. The first step is to execute the GTP STRATUS Import Silent. You may see import dialogs but the user will not be prompted for any information or clicks. The command will automatically accept all defaults and import data.

  3. Once complete, the model will be published. You may see a publish dialog but the user will not be prompted for any information or clicks. The company, model, and folder will be automatically selected based on the previous model publish settings.

To manually use only the GTP STRATUS Import Silent command:

  1. Under External Tools, click GTP STRATUS Import Silent.

    1. Note: Do NOT use either the GTP STRATUS V1 Import or GTP STRATUS V1 Import Silent commands that are visible in external tools.

  2. You may see import dialogs but the user will not be prompted for any information or clicks. The command will automatically accept all defaults and import data.

Updated Package Viewer (Major)

Updated Package Viewer with a major update that displays the 3D Viewer (left) either along side the package’s detailed content tabs (right) or stacked on top of each providing full screen views of both. Like the Assemblies Viewer, this improvement enables users to view the 3D view at the same time as the detailed content. In addition, either side can be expanded to full screen and when this happens, the other side displays full screen under the selected side. In the default view when both the 3D view and detailed content are side-by-side, the package’s detailed content tabs can become cramped on some tabs (Ex. Properties).

Below are the mechanics of the new Package Viewer:

  1. Default View - 3D Viewer (left) and package’s detailed content tabs (right) and include panel a expander/collapse button. Click a part or assembly in the viewer and it will be selected in the in the package’s detailed contents Items tab, or check an Assembly or Part in the Items tab and will be selected in the 3D Viewer.

  2. Click the 3D panel expander - The 3D View expands to full screen and the package’s detailed contents displays full screen below the 3D View. Click a part or assembly in the viewer and it will be selected in the in the package’s detailed contents Items tab, or check an Assembly or Part in the Items tab and will be selected in the 3D Viewer.

  3. Click the collapse button in either the 3D Viewer or package’s detailed content tabs - The default view will display. In this example, when the 3D View was expanded to full screen the user zoomed in on the assembly, added item numbers, and then collapsing the panels retained both.

  4. Click the package’s detailed content tabs expander - The package’s detailed contents display on top and the 3D view on the bottom. In this example, the BOM tab was clicked and the zoom and item numbers are retained from the previous example.

Updated GTP Lightning for Standard Users

Updated GTP Lightning so that Standard Users can publish Fabrication DBs with API Keys associated with Lightning app.

Updated Permissions to Part Templates

Updated permissions to Part Templates link to specific Company Roles.

  1. Previously when using the Properties tool in any viewer, any user could see the Template Name and clicking this link would open the Admin > Company > Part Templates page.

  2. With this change, the Template Name only displays for users who have been assigned a Company Role where Part Templates is checked.

  3. Company Roles are assigned under Admin > Company > Users.

  4. The user in this example has been assigned the Shop Admin Company Role which does not have Part Templates checked (above). As a result, the Template Name and link does not display in the the Properties panel.

Updated the Assemblies > Viewer Panel Expander

Updated the Assemblies > Viewer panel expander to include both panels stacked on top of each other.

Specifically:

  1. Expand the 3D viewer panel and the assembly’s tabs panel will display below the 3D viewer. Previously, these tabs did not display (screen shot below).

  2. Expand the assembly’s tabs panel and the 3D viewer panel will display below the expanded section. Previously, the 3D viewer did not display.

Added STRATUS.Part.BOM* Properties

Added the ability to use the following STRATUS.Part.BOM* properties in STRATUS. Previously, only STRATUS.Part.BOMDescription was available.

  • STRATUS.Part.BOMAdditionalInfo

  • STRATUS.Part.BOMDescription (was already available)

  • STRATUS.Part.BOMDiameter

  • STRATUS.Part.BOMLength

  • STRATUS.Part.BOMManufacturer

  • STRATUS.Part.BOMMaterial

  • STRATUS.Part.BOMProductCode

  • STRATUS.Part.BOMSize

  • STRATUS.Part.BOMWidth

Added 'Cut Lists In Last Year' Query

Under Admin > Company > Queries, added Cut Lists In Last Year.

Fixed Package Filter Sort Order

Fixed an issue where the Package Filter sort order incorrectly intermingled packages names ending in 1000+ with those ending in 100+.

Fixed New Package Area Issue

Fixed an issue when creating a New Package from the Packages Dashboard when STRATUS.Packages.BIMArea* fields were included in the report they would be populated with BIM Area data regardless of whether the Add Assemblies and Parts checkbox was checked (correct) or unchecked (incorrect). In this example:

  1. Unchecked

    1. The Add Assemblies and Parts checkbox is unchecked.

    2. As a result, when the two STRATUS.Package.BIM* fields included in this report are displayed on Packages Dashboard, they do not include data.

  2. Checked

    1. The Add Assemblies and Parts checkbox is checked.

    2. As a result, when the two STRATUS.Package.BIM* fields included in this report are displayed on Packages Dashboard, they do include data.

Fixed a Packages Properties Planning Required Date Issue

Fixed an issue under the Packages > Properties > Planning tab where the Required Date was not editable.

Fixed an Issue Applying the Leading Zero

A hotfix was released on 2/13/23 that fixed an issue applying the Leading Zero in some cases.

Fixed Issue with STRATUS.Part.C1/C2ConnectedTo

Fixed 2 issues with the STRATUS.Part.C1ConnectedTo and the STRATUS.Part.C2ConnectedTo properties.

  1. These properties displayed the fitting itself rather than the adjacent fittings.

  2. The Part Templates Company BOM Line Item Mappings for the Description was not displaying correctly. Note: The Description was a Field that referenced STRATUS.Aliases.

Rules for STRATUS.Part.C1/C2ConnectedTo

  • Connectedto parameter should show the adjacent fittings (skip welds, joints, etc.)

  • Connectedto should NOT be tied to the if the part template of the object is eligible for cut-list consideration.

  • Connectedto should use the BOM mapping for the part template

    • STRATUS.Part.BOMDescription

  • Fitting1 and Fitting2 on the tooling labels should also use the BOM mapping

In this example:

  1. The elbow below is highlighted and is incorrectly displays the name 90 Elbow No 10 for the STRATUS.Part.C1ConnectedTo and the STRATUS.Part.C2ConnectedTo properties values.

  2. Based on the configuration below, STRATUS.Part.C1ConnectedTo and the STRATUS.Part.C2ConnectedTo properties values should display GRV PNT EHP GSKT QUICKVIC RIGID CPL.

  3. Configuration Example

    1. STRATUS.Part.C1ConnectedTo and the STRATUS.Part.C2ConnectedTo properties values should display the BOM mapping for the part template (STRATUS.Part.BOMDescription).

    2. This mapping is set under Admin > Company > Part Templates > Company BOM Line Item Mappings, where the Description is configured to use STRATUS.Field.CSG _ Item Description.

    3. Note: The field STRATUS.Field.CSG _ Item Description references an aliases.

Fixed BOM Mapping QTY Property Override

Fixed an issue with the BOM Mapping QTY Property Override. Below is an example:

  1. For any BOM line item, click the BOM Mappings gear icon.

  2. The Company BOM Line Item Mappings dialog will display. Change the QTY value to a Property Override value (Ex. CID).

  3. Save the Property Override. Previously, the value would remain Default. With this change, the QTY value displays the selected property (Ex. CID).

  4. And when the BOM is refreshed, the QTY value will display the part’s Property Override (Ex. CID) value.

  5. Note: To return to the property value to Default, open BOM Mappings, click the property, and then change the Property Override to Empty Value.

Fixed a Select Connected Issue

Fixed a Select Connected issue in a closed loop system.

Fixed an Issue Applying a Changes When Multiple Assemblies Selected

Fixed an issue applying a changes when multiple Assemblies were selected on the Assemblies > Dashboard and on Packages > Items > Assemblies.

  1. Previously, all 4 assemblies had the same Status.

  2. The Show checkbox was checked for 2 of 4 assemblies and a Status change was successfully applied to the selected assemblies.

  3. The issue resolved was that after the 2 checked assemblies were unchecked, and then 2 new assemblies were checked that applying a Status change incorrectly applied the change to all 4 assemblies. In the example below, the Status change is correctly applied to the checked assemblies.
